My gaming needs are not being met

Like the title says, I feel as if developers are slacking. I have not heard of a decent game coming out for the Xbox 360 in months. Don't get me wrong, I just bought UFC and I love it. I just need something more. I don't know of any major titles coming out this summer or even in the upcoming months.

Even for the PC, I know of nothing that is worth playing. I want to play a good MMO that is not WoW. I'm really craving one. I feel like my Xbox 360 is going to waste and I have nothing to play on my PC.

Is there anything out there you guys are playing now? I prefer a good MMO for the pc, but I really could use anything.

i play eve very casually (>1hr a day) and enjoy it a lot. i haven't found a more mature mmo yet~

I'm actually curious to know what you enjoy about it too; I heard Eve was a pretty hardcore and time-intensive game.

There seems to be a lot less social limitations in the game, which is the primary reason I play MMO's in my extra free time. I like the combat, the commerce, and the game world.

It can be, if you make it so. The same can be said about just anything.. poker, for example. I feel as though Eve is a lot more friendly towards people with shit going on due to the way skills are trained. I imagine you can't advance to the farther reaches of the game by putting in an hour a day (titans/high end fleet/corp shit i guess, dunno), but there's still a lot more to do than in other MMO's imo.

Hmm, okay.

I got the impression that if you didn't play 10 hours a day, your fleet would be like stripped by pirates and your player would be left floating naked in the void of space with not even a pair of skivies to cover his shame.

What games do you have lol? What genre's do you like?

Left4Dead 2 looks pretty damn good. Not too much from E3 so far, though.

Give it a shot. As somebody starting fresh, the best piece of advice I could give you is to do ALL the trial missions and talk to people you meet~ Oh, and take some time out after your first few days to decide what you want to do in the game, and do some research & planning into the skills that benefit you most.

I just started like 2 weeks ago. I'm obviously not very far in, and my opinion on whether or not casual playing of the game can be fun may very well change later on, however so far it's been a blast for how little time I've actually invested.

To answer your questions though, I started a corp between a few irl friends of mine, and have no reason to leave empire space just yet. I plan to eventually outgrow this starter-corp and possibly move into an industrial one, but it's up in the air at this point.

dont have much in the way of isk atm been giving most of it to friends

it's not a conventionally exciting game outside of pvp; aka what you're experiencing now is probably what you will for a while

most of the enjoyment comes from social/economics aspects and character development :)
