I fucking hate gar fish. I had a huge one take a $10 jig when I was in Toledo Bend.

I hate them too. They mess with my bait and I can never catch them.

Yea, they are all over down here, and pretty much considered a trash fish because they are hard to clean. But I have heard the meat is really good.

They get REALLY big too.
