So I am now running 2x 4870 cards and am just wondering something about the hardware configuration. I seen in the tutorial that they used a kind of DVI splitter so that a single monitor is connected to both cards, is this necessary to get the full performance? Also do I simply have to go in my Catalyst Control Panel and simply enable Crossfire or is there something else I need to turn on?
