Its pretty weird. Ive used it for four years and Ive really been using it heavily in the last year. I dont think Ive gone more than a day this year without it. Ive decided to cut it out the last few weeks. Ive been clean this entire week and Im starting to have more vivid dreams now. Has anyone else noticed any changes when they quit?

It's not that weird, you stop taking a psychoactive substance that you've been taking heavily for 4 years and, yes, there will be side-effects.

Weed inhibits dreams in people, take melatonin before bed if you want to dream while smoking regularly.
Even before recently(Have to be clean for a court date, but I'm probably going to say fuck it, and go ye olde gallon of water before court route), when I was smoking daily I would dream a lot.
I always have dreams, but they usually are weird.
When I quit smoking I noticed the food stayed in my cabinets for weeks longer and I lost 5-10lbs
Now that you mention it, I have been having alot more dreams since I quit smoking.
I think the reason it inhibits your dreams is because it affects your quality of sleep.. If you don't reach a deep sleep you can't dream.Quote:

This. When I quit for about a month I started having very vivid dreams, sometimes even lucid dreams. I didn't realize I wasn't dreaming while smoking daily until I started to dream again. Now I am back to smoking a few times a week but I still have vivid dreams most nights, even nights when I smoke. I have no idea what has changed.Quote:
