Left4Dead 4 $15 on Steam...

So, I finally bothered to pick up Left 4 Dead, and being the cheapskate that I am, I'd say the $15 price point is pretty damn reasonable. I know the sale ends tomorrow, but I thought I'd toss this up here anyway to see if there's anyone else who plays it or want to start playing it. I was never much of a multiplayer type of person, but when I get to know people better it becomes a fulfilling experience. Random strangers I can't seem to get into playing with, but since some of you I sorta know, maybe that'll change.

So, anyone up for a few chapters at all? Also, what would everyone here consider to be the best of the best mods and maps/campaigns to play on, as of the unofficial stuff at least?

I'm gonna have to disagree with you on that one.

L4D is a great multiplayer game. And at $15, and the release of a new map for free for PC owners, that's a hell of a deal.

Srsly, I guess it just depends upon a person's taste. I just wish there was a decent way to get some slower, larger zombie masses into the game. Dawn of the Dead style and all.

Creepy, the thread auto updates? Never saw that coming. Snee, you play it regularly? On 360 or PC?

No problem. I just can't bother dropping $40-60 on a game anymore. $10-20 is the sweet spot anymore and by then a game has matured and been given the limelight it deserves.

I fired it up to try out the dlc last night. The DLC was moderately disappointing but I'd forgotten how much fun it was to play it with a few friends.

I played it with a friend, but didn't see any replay value in it. After a couple of levels it was fairly obvious it was going to be pretty much the same all the time.
