Man Sets Car/Corpse On Fire And Jumps Off Bridge
ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. (AP) -- Authorities say a Lakeland man drove a car with a body in the trunk onto the Sunshine Skyway bridge nearSt. Petersburg, set the vehicle on fire and jumped to his death. Lakeland Police identified 38-year-old Robert Laird on Tuesday as the man whose body was pulled from Tampa Bay on Monday afternoon. Police have not identified the person found in the trunk of the burning car.
