Heavy Rain
Sounds like it's going to be the best game of all time. Certainly one of the most ambitious.
Anyone else interested? The studio's first game based on the similar game system, Indigo Prophecy, got great reviews, and from the trailers, it looks like Quantic Dream fixed the graphics issues that plagued IP.

I had read about it and it sounds pretty interesting. I don't have a PS3 though. I'm going to call up the company and ask them politely if they'll release it on Xbox 360 as well.

I liked Indigo Prophecy until the story got all matrixy, but these game seems like it can avoid that and improve what was truly awesome about ingido prophecy

I've liked all the gameplay videos I've seen so far.
I also like that, at least in theory, that game plays 90% different every time. I would hope that they have the foresight to vary the identity of the killer every playthrough (possibly contingent on order of discovering clues, etc) but I imagine that would make the writing a gigantic headache.
I'm psyched, though, can't wait for the demo to drop.

i have not even heard of it
but that's probably because it's not slated to be released on the pc
bastards
but i really should give indigo prophecy a shot eventually. maybe after my fallout 3/mass effect reloaded sessions are done.
edit: OOOOOOOOH, that's the game which was at first famous mainly because of the creepy "uncanny valley" girl in its teaser...

Yeah that virtual actor casting video definitely had some uncanny valley, but the gameplay videos were much better.
