Super Smash Brothers Fantasy Draft
I think the title is explanatory. If you could bring in any character from the gaming universe into SSB, who would it be and why? What would his/her moves be like? This is one of those discussions me and my buddies get into and result in some funny ideas.
There are a couple I have in mind:
Gordan Freeman.
Anyone who's played Half Life knows that this man is a badass.
I'd make his basic A attack be his single crow bar swing. Mashing this button creates rapid swings. His smash attacks would entail of stronger, charged crowbar swings.
His down special would be similar to Snakes Nikita rocket only with the rocket launcher from HL2 obviously. Side special would be the Pulse Rifles alternate fire. It would not disintegrate the enemy though, just do some decent damage and knock them back. His up special would be a teleport with the help of a Vortigaunt, much like Zelda's teleport. Regular special move would be a grenade.
Final smash would be one of the following. 1. The color of everything but Gordan goes black and white and the G-Man's face takes up the screen. He says some speil and fucks everyone up. or 2, you get an armor bonus and the Gravity Gun as your only attack. You can knock people back real far with the blast mode, or you can grab people from a distance and shoot them of the level.
Ratchet
A PS exclusive man, and one of my favorite video game characters. I think he would be a fine edition to the brawl. A move would be a combo of wrench swings. Up smash would be the one giant fist weapon from one of the PS2 titles (can't remember the name of the weapon at this time). I believe it also emitted an electric shock as well. Side smashes would be the shotgun from the PS2 titles. This would allow for a charged smash too.
Special moves. Up Special would be Clank's rocket pack for good recovery. Side special would be the wrench throw. Down special would be the shield that shocks people near by. Regular special would be a simple blaster.
Final smash would be without a doubt the Sheepinator. Run around with the Sheepinator to turn your enemies into sheep and then use a solid smash attack to finish them off.
Kratos.
Biggest badass ever? Arguably.
Smash attacks would be basic. Big heavy swings. Kratos would be a slower character but a powerhouse. Something like Ike. His specials would be the unique thing. Regular special brings out the bow and arrow which can be fired off much like the blaster items. You'll be able to strife, jump, and aim at 90 and 45 degree angles. Over specials would be Medusa's stair, turning your enemies into stone the same way the Ice Climbers turn their enemies into ice. Down special would be the ground smash from the second game? Charge it up for a more powerful smash. Up special would be an angled dash with his blades similar to Olimar's recovery.
Final smash would be the Sword of Olympus. 'Nuff said.
