CoD4 > SOCOM
Have you even played Socom? I've played both and Socom has so much better gameplay and graphics.
I've been reading that the new one is awful. And that the release was all fucked up. I read that the servers were shit and there were install errors. Maybe that was a select case or it's all fixed now. Wasn't planning on buying it anyway.
That was all yesterday, but now everything works fine. It was a horrible first day release though, but it wasn't their fault. Sony shut down most of their servers coincidently on the same day of the release due to maintenance. It wasn't just Socom, even Warhawk and COD4 was all messed up.
I havent played this one, but Ive played all the previous ones. I hate 3rd person shooters online. People always camp around a corner where they can see down teh hall or alley or whatever, and then just wait for someone to come.
I personally would love to see a REA L tactical squad based online game. But it will never happen. Too many douche bags that want to do their own thing. Thats also why I pretty much play Team death match on CoD4. Dont have to rely on anyone but myself.
