All I want to do is rip music from youtube videos, not the videos themselves. I downloaded the ask toolbar which ripped the audio along with the video which I do not want. Alot of the sites I go to that rip the music bombard me with 10 trillion pop ups. Is there anything reliable out there? I want to rip the music to my itunes.

I used to use that and it worked pretty well. Not needed it in a while.
Just google "rip mp3 from youtube" and you will get a bunch of sites like the above one. Ive used a few of them and they all work pretty good.
Like I said in my original post that is what I did. None of the sites I went to seemed legit though as a ton of pop ups...popped up. These sites wont screw my pc over right?Quote:

I use Video Download Helper and DownThemAll plug-ins for Firefox...
Basically gives you a list of downloadable objects from the website you are on and yeah..
I use this for videos too and I just so happen to have Sony Vegas Pro so I cut the video and render it as MP3....
DownThemAll is a download manager that lets you paste the URL of the link that you would get from Video Download Helper, which is the tool that lets you pick what you want from the website you are viewing.
I'm sure you can figure out how to use it...........
Or you might not even need it by now.........

I am specifically looking for something that will rip music from playlist.com. Nothing seems to be working!

Just hit play on the song you want, and hit the dropdown list on the plugin and download the file. It works on some sites, not on others, it seems to work here but the file is in mpeg format.
