If it were in London or Manchester or another big city (we have several) then the police wouldn't care. I don't imagine the police in a small borough of Sussex have too much to do.
I live in a small city and I cannot imagine the police investigating this. The police in my city and the surrounding small towns barely investigate burglaries. They're all too busy trying to catch people speeding.

I doubt Sussex has a huge speeding problem. I also doubt it has a problem with drugs or much else the police could bother with. But, as it was near a school and as we are a nation practically run by the daily mail and rupert murdoch's various media outlets who would all cry out "WHY IS THERE A PAEDOPHILE PUTTING UP PENIS PICTURES NEAR OUR PRECIOUS SCHOOLS? WE NEED TO RETURN TO THE GOOD OLD DAYS WHEN CHILDREN WERE ONLY RAPED BY FAMILY MEMBERS BEHIND CLOSED DOORS AND BLACK PEOPLE WEREN'T PEOPLE AT ALL!!!".
