I hate cases, but I dont want to destroy my new phone. I went a few years without a case on my old iPhone, so I honestly may end up doing that with my iPhone 4. But does anyone know of a case that will still stay low profile, and be made of a hard plastic and not rubber. I HATE how the rubber cases are hard to get in and out of your pocket.

I'm sure Skullcandy makes some iPhone 4 cases, too. The only issue with them is that the outside of the case wears over time.

Otterbox is too big. And does not slide in and out of your pocket. It gives more protection, but Im not a fucking construction worker or anything. This case will hold up fine to drops on concrete.

Im not worried about breaking anything. I had my 3G caseless for its entire life, and its still fine.
I'm starting to get the picture that Atmosfear is either super butterfingers with his iPhone or is completely paranoid that his iPhone might break with the slightest breeze.
Atmosphere lives life on the edge. No less than twice has his otterbox stopped a bullet destined to kill both him and his iphone.
I drink frequently. I also play with things a lot to keep my hands idly busy. I used to spin my blackberry on a table top because the back was slightly curved. Now I spin and flip my phone between my fingers and it drops from time to time. I also use my phone a lot in the car, where I normally leave it in my lap. It's a long way from the front seat to the pavement in my truck. I mean I went from a Blackberry that was virtually indestructible to an iPhone that is notoriously fragile.Quote:

And frankly, I just don't know anyone who has an iPhone for more than a couple months that isn't damaged in some way. On the 4, it's (fortunately) usually the back glass, but why worry about it? I didn't pay $300 to stare through a spiderweb of cracked glass all day.
And to the obvious counterargument: I am more important than my phone, so no, I am not willing to make a lifestyle adjustment to accommodate an over-functioning fucking fashion accessory. The iPhone serves my purposes, not the other way around.

Did you know the Otterboxes aren't necessarily xbox huge? My wife has one of the hardshell clunky case ones - she hated it as first but now loves it. My otterbox is very thin, its merely a silicone sleeve. It's great, and has plenty of grip if I set it down somewhere.
Does Otterbox make a hardshell case for the iPhone 4? Like no slilcone on the outside. And inside out Otterbox would be something Id look at.
