Have you ever walked out of a movie?

When you are paying $8.50 for a ticket, I know that walking out of a movie is feels like a huge waste but some things are just not watchable. Every one has their own opinion of this but I am curious to see if any of you have just left the theater in pure disgust? The only movie I've walked out on is Transformers 2, and to be fair I was kind of dragged to it. Still, the first line was enough to make me cringe and take off for the parking lot. Seriously, Optimus Prime's opening line was "Punk ass Decepticon?" Think about it. That's the line they WENT with. Think of the first few revisions of the scripts!

Anyway, what about you guys? Any movie just too painful to watch?

I've never walked out of a movie because usually I go with people. Even if the movie is terrible, I'll stay for their sakes. I might fall asleep.

And now actually that I think about it, I'm pretty tolerant when it comes to movies. For me, the biggest offense a film can make is being boring. I will watch a movie with bad dialogue, horrible acting, and an unrealistic plot if there are enough explosions and chase scenes. (See: Crank: High Voltage)

Somehow I got forced into going to see Finding Nemo way back when. As soon as I saw that the stingray was a bus, got up and walked out.

I walked out of Milo and Otis once when I was little.

It was probably the 384723th time i'd seen it in the theater and both my dad and I fell asleep in the middle of it and when he woke up he asked me if I'd rather have ice cream and I said yes.

We probably went to see it another 21837123 times after that. I loved that movie.

Tron Legacy was boring and made poor use of 3d. Too much talky talky, not enough tension. The best part was the Daft Punk scene.

I walked out of Hidalgo, I think. What a piece of shit that was. Viggo Mortensen rides around the desert on a horse and then it rips off The Mummy or something. Fuck you, Viggo Mortensen.
I won some free movie passes from a paper once (I didn't even enter the competition, my dad worked there and fixed it) and took a bunch of people to see Van Helsing. Most of us walked out after an hour but I ended up going back in because my then-girlfriend wanted to stay and watch the rest. And yet it was another year before we broke up. She's probably dead now though so I win.

I got my money's worth out of Hidalgo when he started to sing and his Indian words magically healed several spear wounds, dehydration and starvation. It was like the desert version of Iron Will.

That's fair. When I went to go see it in theaters I got scared when they were sucking the kids' souls out, because I was afraid it would happen to me. I was also afraid when I was a kid when the blockhead boys (or whatever they were called) tried to melt Gumby, because I was afraid it would happen to me.

Also, I walked out of A Vampire in Brooklyn. I wanted to see it because it had Eddie Murphy in it, so I bugged the crap out of my mom until she took me. She warned me it was going to be scary, but I didn't believe her. I mean, I was a big tough 9 year old, I weren't never scared. That is until I was scared.
