Do we really need jobs?
1) Marry someone rich.
2) Become homeless.
3) Cheat the system.
Yes, its more than possible. You could go live in a commune, or go live out by yourself and grow your own food and whatnot, but that does mean no electricity either, no internet etc.
There are lots of options if you want to live without a job, but most of them rely on no electricity, which I find to be pretty boring, although the idea is a good one.
