Pokemon Black/White

I know it's a long shot but is anyone else here playing Pokemon Black/White? I just started Sunday.

So far the game seems like the typical Pokemon rpg, but right from the start there are some noticeable improvements.

• There's a stronger storyline. Team Plasma is the "evil team" you have to face is more like the Pokemon Liberation Front instead of a cliche team with a world-domination goal.
• The Pokemart and Pokecenter are combined. This might only saves a few seconds, but those are a few seconds I can spend doing other things in game.
• There are only 151 Pokemon you can catch, which is much more reasonable than the last Pokemon game I played. Diamond/Pearl has over 400 Pokemon!
• The graphics have improved since Pokemon Diamond/Pearl. There's a lot more 3d elements. Too bad this game wasn't made for 3DS because real 3d would be awesome.

So they've reduced the amount of pokemon?
That seems kinda taking steps back to me, but I don't play pokemon...but I would imagine it reduces the replay value a little?
Also lol, sounds like team plasma are the good guys! Liberate those pokemon not train and fight them like rabid animals! god

yeah I am finding myself sympathizing with Team Plasma, but I pretty sure there is something more devious behind their message of liberation.

Also, catching over 400 Pokemon is fucking ridiculous. I had over 200 hours of gameplay on Pokemon Diamond and I wasn't even close to catching 'em all.

Isn't that a good thing for replay value and collector type gamers.

I downloaded an emulator of it recently and played a little bit. I like all the changes they've made. I still don't understand why we haven't seen an actual Nintendo console Pokemon RPG.

I love the Pokemon Universe because the entire world is dependent on high end dog fights.

yeah it is a little creepy how EVERYTHING in that universe revolves around Pokemon

Also, how is giving kids control over creatures that can spit fucking fire a good idea? Japan is full of twisted people.

UPDATE: Ok I've played for a total of 20 hours so far. I'm about a third finished with the pokedex and over half done with gym badges. I'm starting to find the more in-depth storyline annoying. Every gym leader wants me to help him complete some dumb task before I can challenge him. Also my in game friends are fairly annoying too.

Another thing, I'm still waiting for a challenging puzzle. In the previous games there were always a few mazes spread throughout. So far in this game there's only been one and it was so short and so easy I don't think it even qualifies. I'm really craving a good warehouse/cave maze right about now.
