Actually sengir vampire is BB3 4/4 and gains +1/+1 if it deals damage to a creature that dies.
I always liked Sengir Vampire and I don't know why
I only play with players who have decks from the same "era" (for lack of better term), against decks from earlier times it does perform very well assuming you arent using power card combos etc.

Of course there's always going to be a way but that's why I have counterspells, to ensure that doesn't happen. The only real way to completely fuck up my deck that I've seen happen is a lucky mass...
