The Shield looks nice if you can find one, I help a .40 and it felt good in the hand. I came real close to a snagging a Walther P38, I thought too long and lost out on it. They are nice duty sized...
I figured I have a little bit of everything but being a mostly revolver guy I never considered the 9mm until recently. I just though it was a large hole in my tool box, so I found a good shooter...
Very good work, I have been learning how to stitch together and bone some leather holsters and have wondered about dabbling in Kydex.
I have a full sized M&P45, I bought it because it's the only double stack 45 that fits well in my girlie hands. The pistol groups it's shots well and it feeds every hand load I have thrown at it. I...
Very nice, I like it!!!
I could not tell you which exact model it was, just the full sized .45acp. Actually I picked up a couple of them and the were way too big for may hand. Even with the small grip insert the M&P is big,...
Not sure why, just got the wild hair. I was looking at a GLOCK 21 but it was just too big for my girlie hands. So I went with an M&P45 because with the small grip insert it feels pretty OK in the...
I would ask myself what does it do that other more easily accessible and cheaper rounds can't do. Second what is your intended use of this rifle? For a SHTF rifle it's best to use an ammo that can be...
The Mini-14 is a scaled down M14 action designed for hard use. The 742 was never designed for any sort of sustained fire.
I know enough to know it's apples and oranges. The Mini-14 is far more rugged with a beefier action. The 742 uses a much more powerful caliber and is generally more accurate. You can pick up two 742s...
Not sure about how it works but the Kukri feels pretty good so far, I have yet to hit anything with it.
I have a scope for theS&W I just have dig it out of the bottom of the safe.
I'm not fond...
I just got back from Wanenmacher's Tulsa Arms Show with a couple of new toys. I basically went to help a friend purchase some investment grade Winchester Rifles. He bought 11 rifles and spent nearly...
Those Stoeger Coach Guns can be great tools. I used one for a time shooting sporting clays, and did pretty well with it.
If you don't have a set of night sights I would spend the money there first, and I'm not much of a believer in battery dependent devices on a carry piece.
Found a nice 1959 Belgian Hi-Power with target sights, JMB's improvement to the 1911 and the first wundernine and a perfect range queen.

Ithaca M37 12. ga. Wants $265
I don't know much about them other than Ithaca pump guns have a loyal following.
Remington 740n 30-06 semi. Wants $275

The Few. The Proud. The Marines.
Just introduced at the SHOT show in Vegas last week was S&W's copy of the Taurus Judge. S&W shows their complete lack of originality by naming the revolver for a government official, called the...
Looking good.
Can't wait for a range report.
I like the .40, it's a great round that has proven itself in the real world in a mere 20 years. If i were to ever get another bottom feeder it would be in .40 or .45
Congrats on your nice new .40 caliber GLOCK. :chiyo:
The full underlug is mostly there for weight, the extra mass helps tame the recoil.
