Untitled V
Untitled V
In and out of focus we appear
The emotions that guide us pale
The ship sails on, breaking the mirror
The words flow like wax to form a tale
Parting from a long nights rest
Pervading sunshine through clouded glass
Awake and put about thee thy vest
For today you look ahead from the mass
Not only diversity shall you perceive
Eloquence, love, and others beliefs
So exhale, reach down, turn a leaf
You are truly awake when you sleep
By: Derek Lee Preston
The fifth poem I have wrote and haven't been able to think of an appropriate title to address the meaning behind it.
