    Default Cat vs Computer

So my cat has recently started jumping on my computer desk. I worry that he might knock something on the floor. I normally just spray my cat with water when he's doing something unacceptable, but obviously that wouldn't really work next to computer equipment.

    Any suggestions?

If you're at the desk when the cat jumps up, just push it off, eventually it will learn.
If the cat jumps up there when you're not there, put down a sheet of aluminum foil. I've used it for years to keep my cat off furniture and stuff I don't want it on, it works like magic - I guess cats are scared of the crinkly sound or something.

Register an account for your cat and let it post.

KT you can also use a compressed air can to scare the cat off. Train it and the hissing sound alone will keep it off your objects.

Let your cat lay down on your keyboard and post whatever it says.
