Default Who is everybody voting for?

I'm just curious to see who's voting for who. I don't want this to become a political battleground, so I'm not saying anything about who should vote for who, I just seriously want to know which candidate most of my age group is voting for.

I had no option for any write in voting on the ballot I used to vote a few weeks ago... He's just not on the ballot period, so no point in him being there.

I can totally understand this, since we haven't known who the candidates are for months, nor have they made a billion speeches on their policy positions already and how they disagree.

I don't remember asking for your opinion Mr.Hairy.

My problem is that I agree and disagree with both of them pretty much equally. The only thing I am certain of is that I dislike Palin.

I agreed and disagreed with both sides equally. I was so undecided until Palin was picked as the republican VP candidate, and that made up my mind.

I chose McCain because he's the best choice.

Not voting for the best choice to lead the country because of their running mate is ridiculously irresponsible.

Also, when you guys made your decision not to vote for McCain because Palin comes across as ditzy, did you not at any point think about the fact that Joe Biden makes her look like a genius?

Well, I wouldn't go that far, but Biden isn't much better. If Obama wins he'll be assassinated in office. Joe Biden will be the president in the end.

You see? I have nothing to back up that last statement, because it is pure useless conjecture, and not a good basis for making a decision. I think you guys see what I'm getting at.

I will be voting for Barack Obama.

My opinion of Palin has nothing to do with this decision, but to compare her intelligence to that of Joe Biden's is simply laughable. She has no concept of foreign policy (Proximity to Russia does not rank on the "I know international affairs" list), luckily, McCain can probably cover that. Her fervent religious beliefs, and the organizations her husband has aligned with (Uhm, American Succession anyone?) are unsettling. Interestingly enough, her aids don't seem to find her enjoyable to deal with.

I voted (early voting) for Bob Barr. I don't necessarily agree with his platform, but I HATE the 2 main party candidate options and he is the only other one on Indiana's ballot besides a write-in... so hopefully others will feel the same as me and Barr's percentage might send a message.
    Maybe.

Oh hey, I'm from England. My PM can choose whenever to hold his election as long as it is within 5 years of the last one.. I bet I can do it when my approval rating is high. I'm going to let my political party choose who represents my district even if they aren't from here. Yeah let's do that! Oh hey, it's the House of Lords! Look how useful we are!

Although, I do enjoy your PM debates (White Hall hour is it?) with his shadow cabinet. Actually I absolutely love the Brits.

Yes I know a vote for Barr is "wasted". I have a degree in Political Science so I understand what I did and why.
Ron Paul is indeed far FAR removed the Republican Center, as you say. That is because the Republican party is NOT what is says it stands for. It has jumped track years ago and especially now many traditional republicans are jumping ship because they are so pissed off at what the party has become. I am a registered republican and cannot stand the current party. I sincerely hope this election cycle forces it to get back to its roots (which won't ever really happen) or more bluntly, I hope the party completely fails and is forced to rebuild over the next decade.

If it was just between National and Labour (which it pretty much is) I would vote for Labour, but I think Greens would be good in parliament. I don't think they would handle winning fully, but being one of the largest in there is going to do some good for this country.

Or I might just vote for the Legalize Marijuana party, they seem like cool guys.

I'm voting for Obama because I agree with more of his policies and campaign tactics than I do with McCain's. I cant vote for someone who runs their campaign like a middle school faggot, bashing their opponent on a personal level rather than a political level. I get at least 4 republican attack ad's in the mail on a daily basis; all attacking on a personal level giving no reason why they are better than the other guy. The ones I get from the democratic party attack on a political level and give a reason why my vote for Obama would be better for my well being. I do however agree with McCain on some policies, but not anywhere near enough to sway me that way.

Also Palin is a freaking twit. Had to throw it out there.

If a government becomes unpopular enough, they'll lose enough MPs in the local elections for the other parties to force an election.

    Just fyi
