    Default Favorite movies

I checked around and there doesn't seem to be a thread like this yet.

So anyways, what is your favorite movie? Maybe say why, tell us a little about the movie, or just go cheap and post the name plain and simple.

    My favorites are...

Milo & Otis: A great classic movie about a cat and a dog growing up and having adventures.
No Country for Old Men: Mexican drug runners, thousands of dollars, and a psycho bearing a pressurized gas tank and a shotgun with a silencer.
Nói Albínói: An albino delinquent/genius dreams of leaving his icy hometown.
There Will Be Blood: An oil hungry man stops at nothing to gain money, tossing aside friends and family without a second thought.

I've seen those, I agree that they are very good.

The only movie that bored me more than There Will Be Blood was King Kong. Oh how I hated both of them.

    Mine would be:
Blade Runner: You can shove your Star Wars up your Grandmother's cunt, this is the greatest Sci-fi ever made. It's moody, atmospheric, well-scripted, beautiful and captivating.
    Lenny:
Dustin Hoffman plays tortured comic genius Lenny Bruce in his greatest piece of acting and totally faithful, heartbreaking biopic.
Manhattan: Woody Allen perfects his idiosyncratic style of very funny yet intellectually stimulating film making.
Brick: Gritty film-noir murder/drugs mystery set in an American High school. Low-budget at it's enthralling best.
Before Sunrise/Before Sunset: Beautiful flowing dialogue and captivating love story. The sequel is just as good too. My all-time favourite romance film.
South Park: Bigger, Longer and Uncut: In a class of it's own as far as combining satire and music goes. Just incredible, really. So technically underrated.

I could add at least 10 more to that list but it would take too long.

I don't know, I'm a bit of a movie whore so there are way too many to list.

Back to the Future - This has been my all time favorite movie. I've seen this movie more than any other and it shows. I can recite most of the lines when I watch it. However, the second and third movies are horrible. I can't stand watching them.

Alpha Dog - This movie is majorly underrated. Justin Timberlake gives a surprisingly good performance. Actually all the actors are great in the film. Alpha Dog is based on a true story about a drug dealer who kidnaps the younger brother of a guy who owes him money. I usually hate movies based on true events but this is definitely an exception. It's a very emotional film. I tear up at the end every time.

This is difficult for the typical excuse that tastes change over time, but I think I have a few constants:

    Brazil
Star Wars (fuck it, all of them)
    The Big Lebowski
    Dr Strangelove

I'm sure there are more. I'll think of them later.

Ahhhh Brazil. Another great movie. Weird as fuck too. With Robert DeNiro as Sam Fisher!
