    Default Best Place For Ringtones

I just got a new phone. I could use some ringtones what are your favorite places to get them from?

    Preferably free.

    buildatone.com

Upload an mp3, trim it to ringtone size using the built in app on the website, then they send it to your phone for free.

Download WavePad and make your own with that. I just cut out the part I want, and send it to my phone.

I use Audacity. Load the mp3 and trim it. Add any effects then load it on your phone.

I use mobile17. It's free but because of that there is a waiting queue. Quality is pretty good.

Can you use this one by simply syncing your blackberry? I don't receive anything other than plain text for texting. So I need something that syncs from the computer to my phone when I have it plugged in.

I find connecting my phone to my laptop, copying music to the memory card then setting a track as a ringtone the best solution!

A bluetooth dongle is great. I don't even have to get up and find my phone when I send things to it or when I need to retrieve a picture off of it.

Right, I have lots of songs on my phone. But I need to edit them so that I get the one part that matters. The beginning of songs really don't give ya much (when you want them for a ringtone, anyways).

I second this. PhoneZoo is also pretty good too.

I like WavePad. You can edit and save the music.
