Default I should have my car back soon...

As some of you know, something in the steering went insane about 2 months ago, and caused the PS pump, along with 2 replacements to lock up. As far as I can tell, its a clog in some of the HP lines on teh rack. And since Ive started school, I dont have time to mess with it. So today Im bringing it to a mechanic I trust to work on my baby. I cant wait to get behind the wheel again.

So you sucked it up and now will have the pros deal with it? That's respectable. I know it must be hard for you. There's very few people in the world I allow to touch my vehicles.

Hopefully everything gets resolved for you!

Real men skip class to fix their cars.

I can't believe you took it to a mechanic...

What would Paul say? Speaking of which, what forums does he still troll?

By this analogy, doctors should cure themselves and dentists should fix their own mangled teeth.

A blower is great, but I hope you plan on getting supporting mods. Tune, injectors, tb/intake (if you dont already have them upgraded), cam, long tubes, etc. Or else you will be disappointed. I forget what mods ya have, I know gears and drag radials but Im not sure on the rest.

    I know what Im doing.

I have a chip, but Ill need to get one that can data log, bigger injectors, an inline fuel pump, etc. I should be able to do it all for around $3000 if I can keep myself under control and be patient. lol

As far as the engine, its gonna stay the same unless I can find some GT40 heads and a cam I want for cheap.

$3k is reasonable, you could probably get away with the parts rather cheap. I just did 30lb injectors on mine, and I'm waiting to put a Granatelli 255 inline pump in. It'll be a bitch and I am not looking forward to it.

Otherwise that stuff isn't too expensive. What mods do you have now? Refresh my memory

Oh, and what did the mechanic say?

    MM C/C plates
    MSD Coil
    Custom Burnt chip

I think that might be all. Cant remeber. lol

And I dont even think hes gotten a chance to look at it yet.

    Oh yea.

Off road H-pipe and Hooker aero chambers with turndowns.

And they are not hard at all to install.

See the thing is I did. Air in the system was one of the first things I thought of. I knew it was either that or a clog somewhere.
