Default Anyone know any good cheap motels in EBR?

I'll be leaving for Baton Rouge in the next couple of days. Until I find a house to buy I will be a motel dweller. Though I'll get lodging expense allowance for up to ten days, I am still looking for an inexpensive motel. Anything under fifty dollars a night would be great. So long as it is somewhat clean and east of the Mall of Louisiana or Cortana Mall, it doesn't matter the area or reputation. I can handle myself and Louisiana honors both my Kentucky and Virginia concealed carry permits. Worst case scenario I have good life insurance and free health care.

Anyway, besides the filth, a place like this works for me, especially at $25 or so a night. I am sure EBR or Livingston have some old motels/inns like Route 301 in Virginia have.

As for a house, there is at least one vacant one in Denham Springs now.

The Hotel 6 off ofSiegen Lane is going for 54.99 currently. I dont know about weekly rates though.

You can also try The Bellemont Hotel off of Airline. Suppose to be going for 45 but I didnt call to check it out.

Crestwood Suites on South Sherwood Forest Boulevard is 54.99 a night if you pay by the week. It is an extended stay to it comes with a kitchenette.

Seriously, I thought about holing up in the truck for a night or two. If I had a camper shell, I'd bring along a cot and go to a campground. I'm still not ruling out a night or two on the backseat.
