Default Some (hopefully) constructive help needed

I know you probably don't care to read about this, but that's fine, don't. However, I'm writing a paper for a politics class and have a problem citing something.

I have a book of essays that I'm citing, but I'm not sure whether to cite it as if it were a magazine article, or not. To be honest, I'm not sure how else, but at the same time, I want to give proper citation to the authors, particularly both to the author of the essay and the editors and publishers of the book. The problem is citing the book as a magazine of essays doesn't say anything about the editors or publishers.

For the record, I'm using MLA formatting, and I can't think of anything else necessary. I just wanted some opinion as to whether I should do it that way or if anyone else has a better idea.

If you could help me, that would be awesome. If you can't, flame [EDIT: post loving things about] hopeyoudie.

Have you looked into considering it an Anthology?

Hmm...I hadn't. I've always thought of an anthology as a work of poems, but I guess it could work here as well.

I guess that would probably just be

Lastname, Firstname. "Title of essay." Title of book. Ed. Editors names. PublicationCity: PublisherOfBook, Year, pages.

    Any errors there?

Sounds like an anthology as TOGS pointed out.

    also:

easybib.com is a godsend when it comes to citing materials.

Anyway, even though you've found your answer...the second one was the example that would have helped you.

Wow, well thanks. I'm honestly surprised I got a decent answer without having to listen to everyone complain. Anyway, I'm gonna go back to drinking Mountain Maze (yay being poor) and writing (only 10-ish more pages left to write in the next 12 hours).

Hmm, sounds like you already got the master site from TOGS. So with that being said...

HopeYouDie, you are the reason I avoid Canada. So thank you.

You know, if you really think that poorly of everyone here just remember that nobody is forcing you to be here.

I think I just spend too much time in Flames.

Now I'm torn between staying up all night and finishing the paper, or sleeping for a few hours and risk not getting it completely done. I normally wouldn't have any problem choosing, but I have a final that starts at the same time this paper is due. I still have about an hour or two of studying to do for that final, and my grade is worse in that class than this.

So part of me wants to go to sleep (it's 4:22am), but the other part of me worries I won't finish the paper. :/
