Cool Failed assassination attempt on Bush

    http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/middle_east/7782422.stm

Sensational news. Also, don't read too much into the title.

Oh man, this is classic. Almost as good as the time he was booed at the baseball game.

"A truly bizarre incident in Iraq".

Only Fox news could say that they are bewildered as to why someone would want to throw one or more blunt objects at Bush's head with a straight face.

I gotta give the man props for that dodge, and for playing it off like it was nothing after.

That just one more reason to love Bush. It's impressive because it's obvious that he read the inside of the shoe in mid-air. Bush is a ninja brah.

I like Fox News' plug of the success of the War in Iraq at the end, "You could only imagine the fate if Saddam Husein was still in charge."

By the way, they effed that reporter up. Muntadar al-Zaidi has allegedly suffered a broken arm, broken ribs and internal bleeding, his older brother, Dargham, told the BBC.

The moral of the story is don't do that.

Of course no one focused at all on what the man was actually yelling, the fact that throwing your shoes at someone is a huge insult in islamic culture, or that he's been beaten badly afterwards. Excepting djwolford that is.
