My idea would be to add some kind of interesting but not distracting pattern to the background. But I'm high and just want this to have more going on. Add some more subtleties.

I wanted to go with a florescent neon sign kinda look but I do agree. Really though, I am apprehensive about changing the actual lettering anymore since I've spent at least four hours total on just the text. The only thing I'm willing to change now is color, size, and placement of the text.
I need to force myself to learn Illustrator.

lol, I included the source in my first post.
Lettering is definitely better on the second post, but the glow behind him could be toned down a little. It makes the image kind of uncomfortable to look at.

This is a good concept and seems like it should work but for some reason it doesn't appeal to me but its very well done work.
Probably because Lil Wayne is ugly and retarded, and black people do not work well with anything.

The script is a lot better now. It looks good.
Lil Wayne is completely not my thing, nor is anyone who wears their pants around their knees to the point when they walk they look like a baby trying to get out of a diaper, but the wallpaper works a lot better as you currently have it.
Maybe his jeans are at his waist and he wears his boxers up high and has an abnormally high belly button and long stomach
