    Default digital painting practice



    Just messing about in Photoshop. I'm not planing to use this for anything but I'll probably apply this technique in some future project. What do you think?

    When I saw digital painting, I was expecting something along the lines of a digital painting.

    Not that I know anything, but I'm pretty sure that's just photoshopping

    No. For the outline of the binoculars I adjusted the image and layer properties and used two different filters.

    Well yeah, I think of that kind of stuff when I think of digital painting. What I did was like very very basic beginner shit, but at the same time it isn't as simple as you make it out to be. I spent 3 hours straight on it.

    Normally on other message boards I wouldn't post something this but I hate this forum being so slow. Hopefully I can motivate other members to post their artwork.

    Pretty cool if you wanted to take photographs and kind of make a comic or something out of them.

    The skin is a lot harder than the hair. I'm about half way finished with the skin.

    ugh, I have cramps in my fingers.

    Something with the nose and the eye that doesn't really seem correct.

    You are doing an awesome job with the skin though.
