    Default Pick my memory

    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...lue=3092:21136

I've been out of the loop long enough to not know who makes the most reliable memory. I'm probably going to order it tonight so if no one says anything I'll just get the mushkin because I do remember good things about mushkin and the name entertains me.

Oh and if anyone says "buy the pny" I will fucking drive to your computer and punch you in the face I am not an idiot.

What's your price range? What kind of DDR2? GSkill offers good memory at a low price.

Honestly any of those prices are fine with me, although lower the better I suppose.

I can second SneeBeezums choice of G-Skill. I currently have used it in two builds (my own and a friends), and it's stable all of the time. I have had no problems with them, and the price is right. I used to use Corsair, but they are a little bit more pricey and elitist, much for the same product. Not that they are bad, just I trust them more for their PSUs nowadays.

If it's DDR2 you're after though, G-Skill has their standard 2 x 1GB packages for about $31 last time I checked. CAS latencies are at 5-5-5-15.

I've always preferred OCZ or Corsair.

Anything from Corsair, Crucial, Mushkin, G Skill or A-Data should be fine. Hell, most use the same Samsung ICs anyway.
