    Default Rosetta Stone

Ok, so I'm using Rosetta Stone to learn german, but it seems a lot of the exercises can be skipped. Anyone else use Rosetta Stone and have advice for getting the msot out of it?

I actually wanted to use that software for the same language so I'm also curious about this. I read reviews about the software and it seemed mostly positive.

I'm teaching myself Dutch with Rosetta Stone. I go through every lesson and often more than once. It's also important to repeat out loud what the person is saying.

I every language for free, but haven't finished my German courses yet. I just go through it a couple of times per lesson, making sure I repeat everything a few times, then practice throughout the day.

I got Rosetta Stone for a bunch of languages on bittorrent, and I never really found them very useful. I like good old-fashioned classes much better.
