I actually need a recap, I had to skip the latest season because I missed a couple episodes and god super "Lost" , and my friends failed to tell me what happened.
Season 1 - 3:
I could try and explain season 4, but your head would explode.
I just watched 4x09 (the one that starts with Ben kicking ass in Tunisia and involves smokey wiping out a battalion of commandos) and JESUS FUCKING GOD DAMN I love season 4.

Thanks man, this was a great recap. Please try to summarize season 4 for me though, would be great. I already know some, like Jin's grave, but can someone brief on who the Oceanic 6 are again? Other important parts of season 4:
- Ben's daughter gets killed by the mercs, as do Rousseau and Karl.
- Claire may or may not be alive, but either way she looks high and is now with her dad (also Jack's dad), who is on the island and seems to be a sort of voice-of-Jacob.
- Hurley sees dead people.
- Sayid is working for Ben, eliminating people who (actually I can't remember why they're targets so this part might be wrong) are trying to find the island or get to Ben. Not really sure, can't remember. But yeah Sayid is working for Ben.
- They moved the fuckin' island.
Basically the main focus that the last season left us with is that Jack and Ben need to bring the Oceanic 6 back to the island and also Locke's corpse.
Hope this helps, but you should really watch it.

Desmond is by far the coolest character. The episode that really explains the whole 'unstuck in time' thing (4x05??) was one of the best episodes of...well anything really.

Another favourite of mine is Confidence Man in series 1. Where Sayid and Jack torture Sawyer and Sawyer is seen to be a real bastard for the first time.
