When Charlie Kratzer started on the basement art project in his south Lexington home, he was surrounded by walls painted a classic cream. Ten dollars of Magic Marker and Sharpie later, the place was black and cream and drawn all over.

I have to admit, when I saw Kentucky mentioned I was awaiting something a little bit more white trashy. That guy actually did a pretty decent job though.

This inane quote reminds me of some "redecorating on a budget" show where they completely made over a room on a relatively limited budget. However, they like built half the furniture in the room from scratch. Well of course I could remake a room with less money if I had enough talent to construct furniture myself...

I love the "fireplace" and the clock tower.
The fireplace is by far the coolest thing he drew.
I wish I had the talent and was that creative.
