I always love hearing your new material Jared.
The instrument playing from 0:18 to 0:55 seems like it would be more fitting for a bass guitar, but that's just my opinion.

I've actually kind of been sitting on this track for a little while, something wasn't working and I couldn't figure it out. Then my roommate brought home an old keyboard. Yamaha psr-112. It's from the 80's so it has some of the classic synth noises. I started playing around with it and I couldn't help but add it, and so it became the part you mentioned. The timing is off in more places than I'm comfortable with but alas I'm lazy and do this mostly for my own enjoyment, and I like it. I'll most likely rerecord it when I feel up to it.
I liked it...except I don't think the voice is much suited for that style.
I hear the voices inside my head. They counsel me. They understand. They talk to me.
