Flac media.... where to find it?

Let me make this clear. I am NOT asking for a link to download these files. I just want to know where everyone buys/rips/or obtains their flac audio files. I would like to get some of my audio higher quality but I dont know where to start with the codecs other than mp3. Any other suggestions welcome as well
