What methods are there to remove (pubic) hair? I know of shaving and waxing. I don't want to shave because a day or two there's a shitload of stubble. Waxing sounds painful.

Well, you have eliminated two of the basic forms of hair removal. If you want it completely gone and don't want to wax or shave then I guess you would have to do laser hair removal and go to a licensed person who does that.
If you just want to remove most of the hair you could use a trimmer and just take it down a notch.
Well I'm not sure what other options there are, but I'll eliminate one for you to keep you from even thinking about giving it a try. Nair. Just don't do it.

I've used Nair. wasn't half bad. It worked, I was baby bottom smooth and no more burn than if I used a razor. Sissys.
What is wrong with Nair? Does it burn? Does it not remove all the hair?
The best, cheapest way to get rid of your bush is with a cheap electric trimmer you can buy at a drug store. Every other method sucks by comparison.
And have fun waxing your balls, if you go that route...
(Unless you want it gone permanently, but then you're looking at laser hair removal or electrolysis, both of which require multiple treatments and are expensive. Laser hair removal is less painful and relatively faster but has less reliable results and will only work on dark hair.)
