    Default pregnancy advice

So my girlfriend hasn't had her period in about a month and a half now so we're deciding to get a blood test done next week to clarify this period thing. She said she's never gone this long without having her period and well I've been telling her that she's putting her body through unnecessary stress and also that I've heard of women missing or having really late periods at times. I guess what I'm trying to get at is, do any of you know any good and trustful places to get a blood test done for a pregnancy and how much it costs granted she does not have health insurance.

Planned Parenthood or similar would be the best place to go. They almost always have a sliding scale of fees based on income.

If her body is producing hormones due to stress, it's really easy to false positive on one of those. Blood tests are waaaay more accurate and shouldn't be that much more expensive.
