Well they put LS1s in everything so I'm not impressed. Plus I don't think there's anything special about that car IMO. I just don't find them appealing.

I just watched two vettes last night at the drag strip, didn't impress me much. Now those V8 Jeeps, they impressed me. I want to say they ran around 12. I'm not sure how stock it was, but it was sweet.

You should see the jet powered Jeep they had at Monsterjam. It was inside, but that thing would move.

Oh, no, what's going on here? Might I have to use that health care I always brag about? Seriously, though, what's happened at Monsterjam? I'll be there for three shows regardless but have never heard anything bad.

Hmm, a quick Google search shows a six-year-old killed in January. Maybe my son got scared for a reason a coupla years ago. Wife had to take him home and my daughter and I stuck around for the grand finale. Quick bit of humor at Junior's expense here: a local RC club had their RC monster trucks jumping the cars before the show. My son thought that was the show and when Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle came out he immediately wanted to leave. Too loud, too big, too scary, I guess.

Ha. I think two people have died recently at a Monster Jam event.

On a side note: The guy who drives the Batman truck is related to my g/f

Well, this event did not add to the death toll. I abused my all-access wristband, spoke more to the local motorcycle stunt riders than to the monster truck drivers, though I did talk to a couple of owners and the mechanic for Gravedigger, and explored the Baton Rouge River Center. Watched Pastrana 199 roll twice and Gravedigger catch on fire. Got over thirty tickets for people I know, walked about fifteen more upstairs without tickets and had a decent time.

Also got told by someone I couldn't be on the floor alone with the trucks, then told later I couldn't walk across the floor and had to use the corridors. Funny thing was, this was just before last night's show. Friday night and yesterday afternoon I held free reign, and of all the drivers, owners, crew and other acts, only one guy was telling me this. Later I found that even event security was yelled at by him.
