While there are a couple of tracks on there that make me wince, I think it's a more solid track list than Rock Band 2's.

Also, I didn't realise MC5 was on the list; I had read several lists before now and I did not notice them. It's time to kick out the jams motherfuckers.

I'm rather surprised Tool are on there. Mind you they are hypocritical cunts so it's not that surprising.

The Stone Roses track is a fantastic guitar song so that should be good. The Doors is pretty cool, The Steve Miller Band is a great choice and yay, Band On The Run by Wings. Why not?

^ Not sure what you mean by hypocritical cunts.

But I'm fucking exciting that they are on there. A good selection from them I say. GH4 has a great set list. I hope it's not as fucking hard as GH3 was.

Don't get me wrong, I'm a huge fan, have all their albums, bought a T-shirt at one of their gigs etc. but in some ways they are pretty pathetic. They have this anti-mainstream, anti-corporate, anti-industry image but in reality they're one of the most mainstream acts out there. They don't even really push that many boundaries with their sound but they have a reputation for it because their music contains lot's of space and weird rhythms and complex (often ridiculous) lyrics.

Not to mention their fans are absolute twats. I was in a club once wearing a tool T-shirt. I was in the middle of a conversation with a friend and some guy taps me on the shoulder and interrupts saying "Nice T-Shirt mate!!". I dismissed it with a "Yeah thanks" but before I could turn away he'd started with the "Have you seen em live?"
    "yeah"
"Yeah, I've seen em four times, went to London a couple of times for em but they were worth it!"
(now this is where I should have stopped the conversation but foolishly I said...)
"Yeah, I didn't think they were that great. They were good, but I've seen better live bands2
    "WHAT!! Like who?!?!?!"
"Sigur Ros for one, if you think Tool's light show is good then you've seen nothing..."
"Well I've never heard of them..."(like he is the good-band encyclopaedia...)
"The Pixies were great live too, and The Stooges. Hell, even Incubus put more effort in live than Tool did."
    "Right. Well. Innabit mate..."

And then he sulked off back into the dark corner from whence he came. Tool fanboys are worse than fundamentalist muslims when it comes to their 'beliefs'.

Well I don't think Tool really has perceives that image of themselves because well, they did win like three grammys or something.
