Question Could someone clean up this album cover?

Being the excessive compulsive person I am, I decided I wanted the vinyl cover of Clouds' Legendary Demo instead of the CD cover (yes, they are different) on iTunes since I own it on vinyl and it looks much cooler. Problem is, it was a release limited to 400 hand numbered copies, so I couldn't find a decent picture of the cover online. I decided to scan it myself, but had to do so in two parts, causing this image editing amateur to sweat a bit. I did my best, but it really needs cleaning up.

Here's a smaller version to see what needs to be done:

As you can see, the top left and bottom right corners are a tad darker than they should be. Plus, you can see the crease where I combined the two images into one.

And here's the 9 MB .png file:

Thanks in advance. I'd offer esspees, but those sadly no longer exist.

I couldn't do anything with the crease without sinking some time into it, but here it is with a corrected background

    Thanks a bunch.

Even without the creases tended to, the corrected background makes it look great.
