    Default NCAA Tournament Thread

Currently sitting in the dead middle of the league, tied for #262, at 14-2. Neither the Clemson upset or the Illinois upset really hurt me (both were exiting soon thereafter), but the Clemson game was a split pick and I didn't want to lose that so early.

And to answer the obvious question: no, the majority of teams in our league are not 14-2. We have upset bonuses, awarding the difference in seeding for any upset pick. So when #12 WKU upset #5 Illinois, that was worth 1 point for the first round win and 12-5 = 7 points for the upset bonus.

So Stephen F. Austin got rocked first round which I was totally expecting. I just wished they would've done better since I know 3 of their players personally.

I didn't do any brackets and I really don't care too much for basketball, but damn was that OSU/Siena (sp?) and Wisconsin game incredible.

I'd like to see Pitt win the championship mainly because I'm from Pittsburgh. Otherwise I really don't mind who wins.

The only teams that have let me down on my brackets so far are Ohio St., Wake Forest, WV, BC, Cal, Tennessee, Florida St., Illinois, Temple and Clemson.

I'm at 23-9 right now, no special scoring in my bracket. Teams that lost that I expected to win were Ohio State, Utah, Wake Forest, West Virginia, Mississippi State (I was hoping to catch the upset here, I did catch the Wisconsin over Florida State upset), California, Clemson, Illinois, and Tennessee.

    I now have 6 losses.

I still have 14/16 and 8/8 though so I'm sitting pretty.

LSU is hanging way too close to UNC right now. If UNC loses this early I will be fuqued.

EDIT: Nevermind I am not worried anymore.

EDIT2: At least all of us are beating Barack Obama. He's got 13 losses so far, plus a few more guaranteed because he had losses winning another round.

    EDIT3: I'm worried again.

EDIT 4: Lol at the montage of clips with Tyler Hansborough getting hit in the face through the years.

I also have not lost today. There is one game I will definitely lose tomorrow, because both of the people I expected to be in the game are not in the game (I'm talking Cleveland State vs. Arizona), but I confident I will be correct on 15 of the 16 Sweet Sixteen entrants.

So how is everyone's bracket doing? Mine got obliterated in the elite 8, but I'm still in the 85th percentile on ESPN in spire of that. I want Villanova to win in my heart, but I have UNC moving on...to lose to Memphis

I picked Memphis to win the whole thing, due to my loyalty to C-USA. Even though they lost early, I still won with my bracket! Oh yeah, 50 bucks to Drunkmike!

I really wish Michigan State would have won. I would have ended up doing much better if they had (in spite of the fact that I didn't pick them).

    I ended up 46-17

    My bracket was not wrong.
I hear the voices inside my head. They counsel me. They understand. They talk to me.
