    Default Fantasy Football 2008

How's everyone doing? I'm 3-1, 2-2 in two leagues I don't care much about, but 1-3 in the league that does. It's gonna be another long, disappointing season for Atmosfear.

I'm 2-2, but I'm 2-2 because of two players and two players exactly. FUCKING FRED TAYLOR AND TJ HOUCHMASNIENWIHBD!!!! They both do awesome when they are supposed to do shitty and do shitty when they are supposed to do awesome. ARG!!! At least me Bills offensive players have been helping, plus I have Chris Johnson and the Titans defense, both of which are doing fucking awesome.

I'm 2-2 in two of my leagues and 3-1 in the other. The Bengals in general have failed miserably fantasy wise.

Does anyone know if the league for CD actually went through or did it fall out? I left because there wasn't enough people.

I'm doing pretty well but Everton's defence has been giving me trouble.

3-0 in the league that is for money. The only undefeated team left and every one of my players except Dallas Clark is ranked in the top 10

    QB: Jay Cutler
    RB: Larry Johnson
    RB: Earnest Graham
    RB: Frank Gore
    WR: Santana Moss
    WR: Larry Fitzgerald
    TE: Dallas Clark
    DEF: Da Bears
    K: Ryan Longwell

Got Lee Evans, Eddie Royal, Chester Taylor, Rudi Johnson. Andre Johnson, Jericho Cotchery and Jason Cambell all riding the bench.

Last week my bench Scored only 2 less points than my opponents starters.

Damn TNC, that is one solid starting lineup

    Mine is:
    QB: Jason Campbell
    RB: Marshawn Lynch
    RB: Fred Taylor
    RB: Chris Johnson
    WR: TJ Houshmenzadah
    WR: Donald Driver
    TE: Anthony Faisano
    DEF: Da Titans
    K: Nate Kaeding

On my bench I have Michael Pittman, Marvin Harrison, Marques Colston, Owen Daniels, Randy Moss, Trent Edwards, Seahawks DEF

You can see how at the beginning of the season I would think I had a fucking strong lineup and own everybody, but shoddy performances have been dicking me over.

We ended up with six but I kept it open.

Yeah I was the 7th person, it said that the league couldn't start unless there was an even amount of people so I left..

I bet the teams are stacked if there are only 6 teams..

I'm 3-1 in the CD league.

4-0 in another league...I have 300 more points than any other team.

0-4 in a league I didn't bother to check after the draft.

I traded Michael Pittman and Marvin Harrison for Deuce McCallister and Mushin Muhammad

I think I made a good trade, now that the Deuce is healthy again

Meh, I'd have kept Marvin. Mushin is going to decline as Delhomme's shoulder gets hurt again.

You traded 2 garbage players and got 2 garbage players in return. Nice trade

You did get the better of the trade but nothing I would write home to mom about

I don't know if he did. Marvin will be an overall better receiver than Muhammed. Michael Pittman is a tank and he's going to get carries... it's a platoon, but he's the goalline guy. Deuce has obvious injury risk.

I would say this decision depends on your depth. I'm going to assume Pittman was a 3rd or 4th back for you, and that Harrison was a WR2 or WR3. Knowing that you've got Houshmandzadeh, presumably as your WR1, I would say you ought to be looking for WR strength, not RB risk.

Deuce definitely has the most upside of those 4 players, but he's got a lot of risk attached. If he stays healthy then you got a good deal. If not, then you got burned.

Pittman wont do anything this year. The Broncos have made it clear that its Cutlers year.

That's why I traded him. Cutler is too good of a quarterback to make an investment on his goal line RB

I disagree. I think that as teams start to scheme against Cutler more, the Broncos will return to plowing the line.

I foresee at least 9 TDs for Pittman.

If Shanahan doesn't end up coaching a running team, then the past 20 years of his coaching is completely lost.

To support his argument, I will name certain individuals.

Terrell Davis, Olandis Gary, Mike Anderson, Clinton Portis, Reuben Droughns and Tatum Bell

I'm 1-3 in my bigger money league. In two of my losses I was the 2nd highest point earner in the league and just happened to be up against that weeks luckbox both weeks.

I blewout my opponent this week in my top league... 29-point Rothlisberger was on the bench in favor of 8-point Jason Campbell, but everyone but Vernon Davis and my kicker had 10+ point games. Solid performance from an underachieving team... finally.

    QB: Jay Cutler
    RB: Steven Jackson
    RB: Clinton Portis
    RB: Brandon Jacobs
    WR: TJ Houshmenzadah
    WR: Reggie Wayne
TE: Kellen Winslow (with Dallas Clark filling in right now)
    DEF: Titans
    K: Matt Prater

Thats probably my starting line up

Ok guys, I need 2 WRs this week. Who should I use?

    Mushin Muhammad
    Randy Moss
    Kevin Walter
    T.J. Houshmenzadah
    Marques Colsten
    Donald Driver

I also have been thinking of dropping someone for Eddie Royal. Worth doing, and if so should I do it and start him this week?

Eddie Royal's a safe pick with Brandon Marshall. It's a pairing that's along the lines of Roy Williams and T.O. in Dallas now. They have to pick their poison.

Colston's back at full strength, so I'd recommend him

With Matt Cassel at the helm, I think Moss is pretty safe to...not that he never produces anyway.

Walter will have 75 yards at the most, so I wouldn't recommend him with Andre Johnson.

Driver's been declining for the past two seasons and I think Rodgers will have a mediocre day.

Muhammad's easily past his prime. No.

*anxious sounds* Tough calls. I'm so nervous about starting the wrong guys and losing because I have 100 pts sitting on my bench or something.

Traded Larry Johnson for Jamal Lewis the week before all the BS happened with him so good call for me. Right now my team goes as such.

    QBs. Jay Cutler, Jason Cambell
RBs, Frank Fore, Earnest Graham, Jamal Lewis, Correll buckhalter, Chester taylor
WRs, Santana Moss, Andre Johnson, Lee evans, Larry Fitzgerald, Jericho Cotchery, Eddie Royal
    TE, Dallas Clark
    D, Chicago Bears
    K, Ryan Longwell

8-0 right now with my bye week, have 5 more games and need 1 win to officially clinch a playoff birth.

Cant help but think im gonna go undefeated and lose first round in the playoffs.
