Spiderman Saves Autistic Boy IRL

Teachers panicked efforts to bring an eight-year-old in from a school ledge went unheeded. The autistic boy escaped from his next class by retreating to a third floor balcony ledge, and didn't respond to pleas to bring him back in to class.

Responding police and firemen didn't have much more luck until the boys mother said her son is a big fan of Spider-man.
One fireman, Sonchai Yoosabai, who keeps a Spider-man costume at work for just such emergencies, saved the day.

According to his sergeant, "My fireman rushed back to the fire station and took out his Spider-man costume...The boy immediately ran into his arms with a smile."
