I'd also be curious in knowing the weight of the whole thing.
Yea, I was wondering how much it weighs too.
And Id pay $50 for any type of rifle that works.

I is a take down and breaks into two sections,
It's made from cast aluminum and steel tubes and weighs in at under 3lbs. It has almost no kick and kept about a 4" group at 25 yards. The sights suck but they work and trigger pull is not as bad as I thought it would be, there is no need to mess with it.

How accurate do you think it can get? What is the survival use of a rifle that can only achieve 4" groupings at 25 yards?
Well I'd assume that what makes it a survival rifle is the fact that it easily breaks down and weighs less than 3 pounds. Perfect for backpacking.
That's still good enough to be useful for small game hunting. Obviously it would be better for small game hunting if it was more accurate, but "less than ideal" isn't "useless". In wooded terrain especially, any shot you take at small game is quite likely to be at or within 25 yards, and at those kind of ranges, this rifle's accuracy still gives you a pretty decent chance of hitting a rabbit, and at least a fair chance of hitting a squirrel.

I was shooting it offhand, I suppose if I benched it the group would be better, I figure that with the poor sights 25 yards is about max range, and 50% would have bagged a tree rat while 90% would bag a rabbit. I'm currenly sorting through old sight parts to see if I can mickey mouse something better.

That's a pretty cool rifle. I'll have to look into getting one of these the next time I'm at a gun show
