Anyone else seen the teasers for this? The gameplay teaser looks absolutely spectacular. I can't wait to see more. I've been watching a lot of the YouTube videos of people analyzing the original teaser, and at this point I'm pretty convinced that MW2 picks up just before the bonus Mile High Club mission at the end of CoD4 (or at least the Mile High Club is there to kind of elude to what will happen in MW2). I mean, the original teaser obviously takes place in an airport plus theres that stupid bear everyone is obsessing over that flashes in a frame. Theres also a bear in the plane in the Mile High Club mission; you can see it getting sucked out of the hole in the side of the jet.

Anyone else a psyched as I am?

The full trailer will be shown during the NBA eastern conference finals on the 24th. So make sure you are watching it.

From what I've heard, current possible release date is 11/10/09. At least that's what they're listing for pre-orders. Looks like a blast. I skipped out on WaW, but I'll definitely pick this up. I've wasted countless hours playing COD4.

A lot of people are bitching about no co-op and the campaign won't be much longer. Frankly, I don't give a shit. As long as the campaign is enjoyable as 4, or atleast marginally better, that's fine with me. Co-op is a slight disappointment but oh well. I can't wait to see what they do with the multiplayer. I hope it's every bit of good and then some as 4.

I have heard alot of people bitching saying its just gonna be CoD4 online with new maps and weapons. I then I ask them "So what is the problem?"

I don't think that would be it considering WaW had online co-op along with a ton of other games. I think the developers said that they couldn't make a 2 player experience fit with the way they wanted the game done.

But you can play Halo 3 with four people playing on the same game off one console, I don't know why they couldn't do this for online play for the new title. I'd also like to see this added to system link offline play too. Correct me if I'm wrong but with CoD4 system link you could only do one person per console. Hella lame.

I dunno, I wouldn't play with two people on one console anyways, I think that would be really distracting. I hate split screen with a passion, I'd rather just have people take turns.

I just read the cover story of Game Informers June issue. Apparently there will be co-op, online not confirmed, for the Special Forces scenarios. These will be random badass missions that are not affiliated with the story at all. Think the Mile High Club mission.

I think its gonna be a little longer. They have the regular missions that have a story, and they have a Special Ops mode, where all the missions are different, like the Mile High Club on CoD4.

Judging by the video they are pretty cheap NVGs, yes, but they look legit. The big "nose" looks like its housing a small bunch of IR LED's.
