Does anybody have motorcycles here? I have a 1982 Honda Ascot FT500 and am in the process of purchasing a 1994 cbr600 f2.

I really want to get one, and would be looking at something older for starters.

I want one. I'm thinking a honda or yamaha in the 750 to 1100 range and don't want to spend more than 6 grand. I've wanted one for a long long time and I'm not getting any younger. I think by summers end I should be in a spot to afford it.

I definitely wouldn't recommend anything over 600cc for a first bike man. And my bike is for sale if anybody wants it.

Thats a cool bike. Did it have a front fairing at one point?

haha yeah that is the general response. Its based on the suzuki GS 500, so is a full sized bike as it were.

How is the Honda Cb1 400 to ride? Im looking to move up to either a 250 or restricted 400 for those two years post test, but there don't seem to be many bikes within that range. A friend of mine restricted a suzuki bandit 600 which seemed a little excessive I thought.

I learned to ride on an '82 Honda CB 750. Currently owned by my brother.

Don't know when I will own another bike, weather around here is not ridable most of the time.

(old I know but fuck it)

Quite common. What people tend to do is get the certificate to say it has been restricted, then take the restricted out. Easy to do.

Plus after a day of riding restricted you WILL want that thing out.

Very nice bike. My cousin had one.

Have you gone from that sexy black to white? Because damn, I'd never have done that. I mean, that white looks great but that black is fucking perfect.

    Thank you!

Right now, it looks exactly like the first picture. I have white side fairings for it that look great, as you can see in the last pic - but most of the time I have them off and it's blacked out

Sweet. I like that idea. I go through fazes of liking naked/fairings.

Whilst here I might as-well add that I still have my Zephyr 750, and it's as good as ever! Winter time coming round now so not enjoying riding as much. Think I need to spend loads of money on some decent gear to keep proper warm.

I'm 19 and I live in the US. I started riding a little over a year ago, and I got my F4I at the beginning of this past summer. I put about 2500 miles on it, and stopped riding mid September because it started getting too cold.

I'm more of a stunt rider then anything. I mostly enjoyed it for wheelies and a couple other fun tricks - but nothing beats cruising the highway/state park twisties with a couple buddies!
