Pictures from Toledo Bend... (56K fuck off)
Me and my grandfather went to Toledo Bend this past weekend for the McDonalds Big Bass Splash. The tournament was from Friday till Sunday. We got down there Thursday and went fishing to scout it out. Didnt catch a thing. So we decided to not enter the tournament till we were able to catch something. The fishing was horrible and the heat was intense. Total for the three days we went fishing was 3 keepers. All about 2 pounds each. Out of all the people we talked to, more than half didnt catch a single fish. We saw tons of shad schools. Some as big as a house. So Im pretty sure the bass has all the food they wanted and all day to eat it. But it was a fun trip and there was some great scenery. On Sunday we decided to not go fishing since it was the hottest day of all, and my grandfather was being presented a replica of a 10.06 lb bass he caught a few months ago. Didnt get a pic of that though, but Ill get one for you guys next time I go to his house.
