Just figure out how many calories you're eating to maintain your current weight, and eat more than that. Gaining weight really is that simple.
(I just read that article and noticed that it mentioned ensure, I'd like to second that suggestion. Ensure plus has a clean 350 cal. if I'm not mistaken, and doesn't taste that bad. I used it back in the day when I wanted to put on weight and could still afford to drink as much of it as I did.)

You know, I claim to also frequently "eat a fuckload." Still, and even though differences in metabolisms may have an effect here, you may actually eat fewer calories than other people. For example, you may eat larger portions at meals, but other people may snack far more frequently between meaks than you. Also, you may drink calorie-free beverages, whereas others may drink sugar water. Some of these differences in diet may seem small but can really add up.

Or it could simply be your metabolism; who knows?


At any rate, the next time you seek pleasure in something, say by taking drugs or jerking off, conider instead to satiate your appetite with a nice ice cream or package of biscuits. In no time at all, you'll be the great big fatty you've always dreamed of being.

Eh. I mean, I've seen extreme ectomorphs that are tall, lanky, and as thin as a sheet of paper. You can try to eat more calories then you normally do as well as doing weight training along with taking protein supplements, but maybe the best advice is to love your body as it is and just be thankful you aren't an apple-shaped man.

Up your calorie and carb intake. Also make sure your diet is full of protein as well.

You haven't posted any progress shots since near the beginning of your progress. Are you solid muscle or is there a good amount of flab? I mean, 175 lbs at 5'11'' is actually pretty far on the high side of the "normal" range.

I talked with someone a few weeks ago who told me he is 6' 8" and 140 pounds. The phone may have been messed up, so I'll ride out there to talk about the Army and if that is correct will tell him he needs to weigh 166 lbs minimum to get in. I've got to see that myself to believe it.

As for weight gain, I don't know. Maybe eat McDonalds three times a day?

Except, im 6'5 1/2 and I weigh 158 pounds. Yeah no much of a difference.
I'm really crossing my fingers on the whole metabolism thing.
But I know some people who are old, tall and still skinny as fuck.

I'm thinking protein shakes and all that stuff may help, but if you're not working out or anything I don't know if you will gain it in fat or what. Or else, become a gym faggot

I don't have the time or the inclination to go the gym regularly. I have been using a bull-worker, but I have shoulder problems so I have been instructed not to do weights by my doctor. I think I may just fill out once I stop growing, I mean I'm 17 and I've been growing about an inch a year for quite a while.
