Default Lower back pain after sleeping.

I'm a 20 year old male and for months now I have been getting a very painful lower back when I wake up. I have slept in two different beds and still get a sore back. I have also tried different sleeping positions advised by back pain sufferers. The pain is concentrated around my lower back and can spread around to my sides and stomach. It's beginning to get to the point where I'm having to take pain killers as soon as I get up.

    What should I do?

I'm not a big fan of doctors, but this sounds like one of those times where you should probably go to one.

When back pain spreads to the stomach, you go to a doctor.

Start doing Stretch exercises or yoga regularly when you wake up in the morning. Your back pain must be due to a muscle strain or bad posture while sleeping and so you can get rid of it by doing stretch exercise or yoga. If the problem still persists, its better to consult a physio and you can also seek advice from here http://www.irehab.com , which might be a good option too....

Is your snot clear, or green?

In any case, see a doctor.

Someone might be butt raping you while you sleep. Keep your door locked and see if the pain comes back.

Well I have an appointment booked with the doctor for some time this week. The pain in my stomach is not always present when I have a sore back. It feels like a hunger pain.

My back pain usually lasts for a short duration after I wake up. It is not a continuous pain that aches day and night.

I don't think anyone here is saying "it's serious". I think we're all agreeing that it's undiagnosable on the internet and taking advice from someo ne online would be irresponsible to a wonderful degree.

Do you work out at all? I've had a few friends complain of similar pains, who are regular gym goers. Turns out the were too unbalanced in their core training.

Even if you aren't, strengthening your core helps solve lower back pains. Start doing some crunches, twists, and good mornings.
