Eh, the dreaded headset for the Xbox 360

We all know how depressing this subject can be. I need a reliable headset for the 360. It doesnt have to be wireless, but preferred. I have went through at least 3 or 4 headsets and have not used one in the past year and a half. The only thing I ask is that the headset last at least 2 years if taken care of properly and I can clearly communicate with people. Also should be reasonably comfortable. I really dont care about that 5.1 surround sound garbage.

I looked at Turtle Beach Headsets but I do not feel like dishing out $100 or more for a headset. I saw some other models from websites that give a brief overview of headsets, but have no idea of their quality. I was thinking about giving my money away to Microsoft for the wireless headset, but if their regular ones break I do not want to keep losing $50.

Any suggestions?

I got one of the $15 ones that plugs to the computer and have had it since I got my 360.

I dont think this is the exact one, but its like this one. I like the switch on the controller cause its easier to mute.

I would go with an xbox vintage headset. The ones that went horizontally across your head that they sold for the original xbox. NEVER had one that had the sound quality+comfort on anything since.

Thanks man. That is the exact mic I keep buying that breaks. I'll probably just end up buying it again anyway since Im too broke to afford a nice one. thanks guys
