I was really hoping they would just keep up with the modern warfare, but I guess it's a throwback to COD's roots. I never actually thought a Pacific Theater COD would be any good, but I am wrong.

They are going back to modern times with 6, when Infinity ward makes it. But Treyarch loves WWII for some reason. From what Ive seen, it looks like it will be awesome. But I doubt Ill play it online like I do with 4.

Ugh I'm still on the fence with this. Modern Warfare was so good. And it broke away from WWII which I was thankful for. Now it seems like a step back rather than forward. Treyarch seems to have done a good job with making this good though. But like d said, I doubt I'll be addicted to the online like I am with 4. Weapon customization won't be as cool. And I think flamethrowers will be spammed hardcore.

I have been playing the beta, and it's okay. It's setup just like COD4 with all the same menus and perks (with a few more added) They have vehicles in some of the maps.

I don't see getting this any time soon, or at an urgent pace.

I'm over COD4 and I prefer the modern setting anyway. We don't need to be beaten over the head with more WW2 shooters.

Far Cry 2 looks more promising.

Hopefully will be getting my beta key soon.
I'm pretty disappointed they went back to WWII though, modern day is so much more interesting.
